Flower Fairies of the Garden - The Sweet Pea Baby Fairy™ is constructed of the finest all wool felt. She measures just 8" tall and is fully jointed at shoulders, hips and neck with new ball & socket jointing system. The Sweet Pea Baby Fairy has a sculpural hollow body with an internal wood mechanism to connect her limbs and head - a first for R. John Wright. This new innovative jointing system allows for expressive posing. The tiny sculptural baby hands are sewn with individual fingers and the facial features are delicately hand painted. The Sweet Pea Baby has a wig of the finest imported mohair. Her little fairy wings are sewn of fine silk organza and delicately hand colored.
The Sweet Pea Baby Fairy is costumed per the original Cicely Mary Barker illustrations in a silk baby dress with matching bloomers. On her head she wears a felt sweet pea bonnet. This Garden Flower Fairy™ comes holding a detailed, realistic sweet pea blossom made of molded, hand painted felt.
The Sweet Pea Baby Fairy is limited to only 150 pieces worldwide. Each will come in a deluxe RJW presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration. As part of the Flower Fairies™ Collection, matching numbers are available to the other dolls in the series.
