Madame Alexander 21" Cissy Collection - "Lavenesque Yardley Cissy" - LE350 For the 80th Alexander Anniversary in 2003, Cissy was presented with a nostalgic touch and re-created as the classic Cissy as seen in an original 1950s Yardley magazine ad. "Lavenesque Yardley Cissy" is wearing a fitted whisper satin back wool faille sheath with a velvet bodice (lined). The black sleeveless sheath is accented on the side of the waist with a black velvet bow. The matching black coat, also lined, has a lush brown faux fur collar and jeweled rhinestone buttons. Her ensemble also includes sheer pantyhose; black slingback heels; black gloves; black pillbox hat and rhinestone earrings. I don't know if her gloves are lined - they are still sealed in plastic and I can't see. She comes with reproduction of the 1950s coffee table shown in the original Yardley ad and a ceramic coffee cup and saucer. She was never displayed or removed from box but I did open the coffee table box to examine as it seemed too flat. The legs are separate and screw on as it turns out.
