In the 1990's, the fashion look became more dramatic and "Dressed to the Nines Cissy", representing the decade from 1990 to 2000, exudes drama in a stunning black lace cocktail dress. The multi-layered dress has a top layer of fine, sheer black lace embellished with pink rhinestones and a scallop hem over a second layer of fine, stiff pleated black tulle over a third layer of pleated fuchsia tulle. A whimsical pink dragonfly with tiny pink stones and pearl body and antenna sits poised at the hem of her skirt. The drop-waist bodice is fuchsia satin under black lace with black velvet straps and black lace edging. A pink fabric rose is pinned to her bodice and she's topped her dress with a black velvet shrug. She's accessorized with a black evening bag; sheer pantyhose; black, strappy heels; multi-colored rhinestone earrings and a jet teardrop necklace. She was briefly on display in our store in a locked, glass display case away from direct sunlight and then carefully repacked. She is all original and complete - mint in box.
