10" DENISE BOULET*

Madame Alexander Ladies of History Series - "Densie Boulet" - Dressed doll - LE250

“Denise Boulet” was an enormous influence on the fashion of her day. She was the wife and muse of designer Paul Poiret (April 1879–April 1944), the Oscar de la Renta of his day. “Denise Boulet” features a 10 inch, fully articulated, brown-eyed Cissette with upswept brunette hair. She’s wearing a deep plum, floor length sheath embellished with black and gold lace along with purple bugle beads at the bodice. She’s also wearing an olive green satin, kimono-style coat trimmed with the same bugle beads as on the dress. Her stunning outfit is accessorized with a bold purple and gold belt, a gold and iridescent purple beaded headband, a sparkling purple and green crystal necklace with matching earrings and finished with purple pumps with small gold bows and nude pantyhose.
